Service Terms & Liability Disclosures
These terms govern all logistics and transport services provided by Safe & Sound Couriers within the Sacramento metropolitan area and surrounding regions. By engaging our services, you agree to the following professional and legal standards.

Safe & Sound Couriers provides dedicated medical transport only. We do not handle hazardous nuclear waste, non-medical consumer goods, or items exceeding 50lbs without prior assessment. Services are limited to the Sacramento County and adjacent counties unless a custom route is established.
Our liability is limited to the replacement value of the physical items transported, up to a maximum of $500 per delivery unless additional insurance is requested in writing. Safe & Sound Couriers is not liable for secondary or consequential losses arising from delivery delays.

STAT deliveries are prioritized and dispatched immediately upon receipt. Scheduled routes must be finalized 24 hours in advance. Wait times exceeding 10 minutes at pickup or dropoff locations will result in additional billable increments.
Safe & Sound Couriers is not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather conditions, mandatory road closures, or civil disturbances. In such events, clients will be notified immediately via our real-time tracking system.

We adhere to strict HIPAA confidentiality protocols. All personnel are trained in the handling of Protected Health Information (PHI). We will enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAA) with all clinical contract partners as required by law.
Invoices are due Net 15 for contract holders. STAT one-time bookings require payment at time of service. Late payments incur a 5% monthly fee. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Sacramento County.
